The High Commissioner of Ghana to Malta, H.E. Barbara Benisa was honoured to participate in the farewell reception organised by the Diplomatic Corps in honour of the President of the Republic of Malta, H.E. Dr. George Vella and First Lady, H.E. Mrs. Miriam Vella, on 14th March, 2024.
On the eve of African Union (AU) Day, Friday 24th May, 2019, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Promotion of Malta, Hon. Carmelo Abela, presented various amounts of money to seven (7) Maltese Development NGOs operating in different parts of Africa.
The Technical Meeting of the Second Session of Ghana/Malta Permanent Joint Commission for Cooperation (PJCC) was held in Accra, Ghana from 5 – 6 June, 2018 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.
Negotiation on the Avoidance of the Double Taxation Agreement Between Ghana and Malta was held from 2 – 4 May, 2018 in Malta.
Pursuance to the promotion of closer collaboration, the Civil Protection Department of Malta invited twenty (20) Ghana Fire and Rescue Officers to attend a seven-day training course in Malta from 19 – 27 February, 2018. Air-tickets and accommodation were provided by the Civil Protection Department of Malta.
At the invitation of the President of Malta, H.E. Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, the Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Hon. Catherine Afeku and His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II – Guest of Honour participated in the 5th Mediterranean Tourism Forum held from 1- 3 March, 2018 at the Hilton Hotel, St. Julian, Malta.
